5.5 Ross the Boss - Born of Fire
I'm trying to avoid stuff like this, where I already know the band is just meh, and there's little chance of it being great. I heard one song and knew this was more of the same from them.

6.5 Stitched Up Heart - Darkness
Much better than I was anticipating but the quality is too mixed. There's about 5 really good songs though.
I like it more than you, but I get what you're saying.

7 Xtasy - Eye of the Storm
Erik's massive footprints all over it. Sadly that gal's voice drags the whole thing down. Still good though.
I wonder how he chooses who to work with. He's got his own band and projects, so what about these people would have convinced him to use some of his ideas up on them?

7.5 Five Finger Death Punch - F8
hehe the band everyone loves to H8.
I hate them because Moody is, to put it in European terms, a right wanker. His screaming bro-ness is so annoying I don't even care if there's one or two good melodies.
8 Harem Scarem - Change The World
It's just not as good as Unioted sadly.
And I'm starting to think they're just about equal. Believe it or not, "United" had a couple weaker songs to go with the awesome ones, and this record has a more consistent level of almost greatness. It averages out, for me.

8.5 Allen/Olzon - Worlds Apart
The only things I can say bad about it are 1)Needs more duets, and 2)Russell needed to track some more backing vocals on "Who You Really Are". It feels incomplete compared to the rest of the album.
9 The Night Flight Orchestra - Aeromantic
It's fine, but the more I hear Speed, the more his voice starts to annoy me. It always sounds like he's got too much processing going on, and it's finally too distracting for me.
What's to come in April?
Absolutely nothing I'm very interested in. It's going to be a long, lousy month.
