The Surfing Alien proclaimed:
He even played the "Rat Race" riff for me:) He wasn't completely on the money with solos, but great on rhythm, and his leads were still shredding. Rock sang' he was good, too. They seem to love 'Murica and Trump :-D Too many fucking covers, though.
Agreed about the covers. way too many. Nice setlist overall . A lot of Answer to the Master tracks. Their best album IMO.
My favorites by a looong shot are the first EP and "Screaming Symphony"
Thanks for posting the setlist btw ! I studied it carefully before going hehe.
Right on, my pleasure\,,/
Got Impelliteri to sign my ticket LOL. Wasnt going to but he was signing other people's stuff, so I thought why not.

I bolted the second it was over; I had a plane to catch, hahaha.
A local band Psychoprism got kicked off several of these warm up shows after Impelitteri listened to them and decided they sound too much like him LOL, "shred with high vocals". Instead we got strange Brazilian chicks covering Led Zeppelin haha. the Progpower board is all abuzz about this episode.
I found out about that later; I believe it 100%, that's a real asshole move.

Apparently they've been trying to get him there for years but he won't settle for anything less than a headline spot :)
I believe it, too; him and Rock were sending off some Rock Star vibes, one of which was them referring to the gig as a "rehearsal." Rehearsal...hm, nah, kid, we paid, it's a show:)

How well attended was the Queens show? We had maybe 20 people at Dingbatz, maybe less.

Incidentally, food for though over some recent attendance numbers I observed:

Vicious Rumors, Dingbatz, NJ - maybe 12 people
Warrior Soul, Debonair, NJ - maybe 15 people
Church of Misery, St. Vitus, Brooklyn - maybe 200+ people...
