The band didn't want to make a big deal out of it and quietly let him go without any details. Smart way to go.
Yes and no. I can see both sides of it. On the one hand, you're right that it reduces the amount of bad press. That's an indictment of the music media. On the other hand, it invites people to continue believing Logan is a member of the band. If the media was asking questions, as they should be, that should be scandalous.

Myself, I would always err on the side of making it clear a guy like Logan isn't a member of the band. The press they would have gotten for swiftly, and publicly, kicking him out would have been good for them. They would have been standing up in defense of kids.

Instead, we're just left to talk about how much their music sucks.
I can go both ways on it. They probably didn't dismiss him because they don’t people thinking they think he’s guilty without a trial. They also may keep it quiet because they don’t want “child porn” and their name appearing side by side in the media. Do not talking about it negates that. I’m sure he is gone. I also Heard one song on the ep. that was enough for me. It’s awful just like the last album. This is coming from someone that shamelessly admits he likes manowar (me) but this ep and the last album are terrible
