Rhapsody of Fire - The Eighth Mountain
It's been sitting there for a month, and I just can't bring myself to listen to it. I've heard enough of that cinematic stuff, and it doesn't interest me enough to find out if this one is any better.
Soen - Lotus
one or two very good songs though.

Just curious, which ones? There are two standouts to me, so I wonder if you hear them that way too.
Candlemass - The Door To Doom Miss Rob Lowe.
That's the one thing about it I don't mind. Rob was great, but I have no complaints about Johan's singing. Rob wouldn't have made these songs less boring.
West Bound - Vol 1 - Horrendous sound
Absolutely. Roy Z would be turning over in his grave, if he wasn't playing on this one.
What's on the horizon for March:
In Flames - I, the Mask - we'll see. should be better than last crap anyway.
It has to be better than "Battles". That one was awful. I think I'm content with "Sounds Of A Playground Fading" being the only one I'm big on.
Queensr├┐che - The Verdict - Nos sharpening his knife as we speak!
Nah. I'm not even going to listen to it, unless it gets shoved in my face.
Bloodbound - Rise of the Dragon Empire - Nos ready to reuse the knife he already decapitated Queensryche with!
I'm anticipating it showing up relatively soon. I've been checking out every album, but they hold no interest to me without Urban. Heck, even with him they have essentially been a tribute band to someone different on every record. I'm not a fan of that approach, even if it did lead to one of my favorite metal albums ever.
