Iron Maiden - The Final Frontier

Again, nowhere near as good as their early stuff. A couple of nice moments here and there but overbloated. Dickinson strains too much. "Mother of Mercy" and "WtWWB" are the only two songs that I even remember (plus the terrible "El Dorado"), and they are OK.

Dio - Master Of The Moon

I don't know what people hear that they think "Magica" was better than this record. That one was a steaming pile of shit, while this one is a perfectly acceptable record that's more enjoyable than "Angry Machines" or "Killing The Dragon". I guess I like Dio and Goldy together more than a lot of people.

Sure, it's better than the god-awful Killing the Dragon but a nautical mile behind the awesome return-to-form Magica that restored my faith in Dio's songwriting. The only great song here is "The Man Who Would Be King," and it should be the only way to remember George W Bush.
