At least August has got off to a good start with another Speed Strid fronted project. There’s a lot of energy and fire in these tunes. It doesn’t have the gloss that Night Flight has but it has a nice swagger to it. Speed’s vocal melodies are top notch as usual with a lot of memorable parts. I love the grooving track Cut You Loose with perhaps the best chorus on the album. Maybe the album is a touch short but you can play it twice in a row and it doesn’t overstay its welcome. The Rainbow cover is killer too. 8.5/10

The songs are excellent. The sound is really weak. I don't remember the last time I've heard a production this thin. Thanks for the pointer though!
