New album isn't arriving until January, which I think means it'll be the first time they break their normal cycle.

Anyway, this song is typical Soen. It sounds like they might have streamlined the rhythms even more, which fits the trend. Doesn't matter too much, since the sound is crushing, and Joel delivers another nice chorus.

Since they found 'their sound', everything they've done has been great (to degrees), and this is a good start.
