Your life must be incredibly boring, finding 99,9% of the new music bad...

I would simply say it means I actually have standards... but I've actually been thinking about this topic a lot lately.

What it seems like to me is that most people have never thought about what their praise actually means, so they claim to love things without knowing what love is supposed to be. I also tend to believe we have a finite amount of love to spread around, and I'm not going to waste mine on music that's just 'fine'.

At this point, if music can't make me feel something, it's mostly worthless.
